“Tsuru No Ongaeshi”…

A Japanese Folktale ❤🪽…
“Paying back and Broken Promises” on the walls

A brief storyline for you…

“Once, in a small village of japan, a kind man rescued a crane trapped by a hunter. That night, a gentle young woman appeared at his door, seeking shelter. He welcomed her, and soon they began living together as husband and wife.

To support them, she wove exquisite cloth—on one condition: he must never look inside the room while she worked. The cloth she produced was unlike anything seen before and brought them good money.

But curiosity eventually overtook him. When he opened the door, he discovered she was actually the crane he had saved, plucking her own feathers to weave the shining fabric. With sadness, she said, “I came to repay your kindness, but now that my secret is known, I must leave.” She returned to her crane form and flew away into the pale winter sky.

A broken promise can cause even the closest bonds to slip away… 🪽”
